To see a wolf is to witness wild intensity. In nature, they are tirelessly on the move, working together for the success of the pack.

This sculpture features a trio of wolves sculpted in bronze. It will be sculpted larger than life to heighten the feeling of excitement befitting an encounter with wolves. Bronze is unrivaled in its ability to show detail, convey movement and will last for generations. The wolves are running up a rising slope. The angled base creates an upward motion to the design that evokes an inspiring feeling.

The wolves in this sculpture are shown in dynamic motion. I have always felt that the best way to accomplish any goal or face any challenge is to actively engage. Wolves teach us that if something is worth doing, you must pursue it with all your heart. It starts at ground level and gradually ascends, the wolves bravely leaping forward. It invites viewers to run together towards our highest potential.

Hope, courage, resilience, and connection are at the core of each piece I create. Art has the power to enrich cultural heritage and to inspire us to find the strength and beauty in our own stories. My hope is that this sculpture will stand as a reminder of the strength each of us carries within and inspire us to test the limits of what is possible when we work together.

Within the intricate tapestry of the wolf’s existence, each individual is a vital thread weaving together the fabric of the pack’s collective identity. Just as the pack draws its strength from the unique contributions of each member, so, too, does the individual find purpose and sustenance within the interconnected bonds of the pack’s communal embrace.

The Moons – Reflecting the Seasons and Phases of Our Growth.
Just as the moon waxes and wanes, we each experience challenges, growth, and rebirth. These moon phases symbolize adaptability through changing seasons and the beauty that exists even in the darkness.

The Mountains – Signifying Endearing Courage.
The mountain-scapes that punctuate Oregon’s skylines are a place where we connect with nature and ourselves. We both test our endurance and rest in the splendor around us. Much like the mountain-scapes depicted within each wolf, the strength and beauty of the mountains are embodied within us.

The Caldera Wolf Pack is a group of four Oregon grey wolves, who each have individual characteristics and strengths that make the pack a stronger unit, and each represents an important element. Located in Bend, Oregon the four elements we find here are: Earth, Water, Air and Fire.

The Howling Wolf represents the Air Element, and the importance of communication on behalf of the pack.

The Hunting Wolf represents the Fire Element, and takes care of feeding the pack.

The Watching Wolf represents the Water Element, and protects the pack with her vigilance.

The Resting Wolf represents the Earth Element, and reminds the pack to take care of itself by conserving vital energy.

Together, The Caldera Wolf Pack thrives based on the diversity and uniqueness of the individuals who comprise the whole.
